How is a cabinetmaker's closet system different from a franchise closet company's?
Franchise systems are cut from melamine panels in standard depths and hung on rails; they are fine as far as they go. A cabinet shop builds your closet as furniture: real wood or premium veneer, dovetailed drawers, adjustable sections sized to your clothes, built to the ceiling instead of stopping at a rail. The price difference is smaller than people expect - and there is no franchise markup in it.
Do you do reach-in closets and pantries, or only big walk-ins?
All of it. A well-planned reach-in doubles its hanging and adds drawers; a pantry with the right shelf depths and rollouts holds twice what wire racks do. Small spaces reward custom the most because every inch has to earn its place.
What about garage storage - can cabinets handle a Nebraska garage?
Yes, if they are built for it: sealed hardwood or marine-grade plywood, finishes that tolerate the temperature swings, and mounting that keeps cabinets off the slab and away from melt water. We build garage banks with workbench tops, tall broom units, and locking chemical storage.
